James Ellis’s Creditors

    Whereas James Ellis, of Hopton, in the Parish of Mirfield, in the County of York, Clothier, by Indenture bearing Date the Eleventh Day of April 1795, assigned and transferred his Estate and Effects unto John Mallinson, of Kirkheaton, in the said County, Linen-Draper, and James Micklethwaite, of Hopton Hall, in the Parish of Mirfield aforesaid, Maltster, In Trust for the Benefit of themselves, and the rest of James Ellis’s Creditors, who shall accede to and execute such Assignments, on or before the Eleventh Day of June next.

    Notice is hereby given,

    That the said Assignment is lodged with Mr Stephenson, Attorney at Law, in Holmfirth, near Huddersfield, for the Creditors Inspection and Execution, and all Persons Indebted to the said James Ellis, must immediately pay their respective Debts to the said Trustees, or one of them, otherwise Actions will be commenced for the Recovery thereof.
