By the time of his marriage to Ann Dyson, 7 Sep 1833 at St. Peter's, Huddersfield he had dropped the 'Abraham'.
At his death, 9 April 1863, aged 51, at Newhouse, the Freehold Newhouse Estate was sold at Auction on Monday 20 July 1863 at the George Hotel, conducted by Benjamin Thornton. To be sold as one lot in the first instance, 9,525 square yards, comprising four dwelling-houses, out-offices, stables, coach-houses, pleasure grounds, yards and surrounding land.
Thomas Mallinson's death certificate shows that he died of 'Pleuro Pneumonia and Phthisis'. William Harris of West Parade, Huddersfield in attendance.
