I have in my lifetime made advances to or on account of certain of my children which I have taken into consideration in the dispositions hereinafter made by me so as to effect what I consider to be a fair and just distribution of my estate amongst my said children and their families
- income from £750 for my daughter Eliza, wife of Robert Butterworth, and her childre
- income from £750 for my daughter Jane, wife of Richard Butterworth, and her childre
- £1250 for my son William Mallinson absolutely
- income from £750 for my daughter Betsey, wife of Alexander Hall, and her children
- £1050 for my said son George Mallinson absolutely
- income from £350 for my daughter Harriet, wife of Thomas McComas, and her children
- income from £1050 for my son John Mallinson and his children
- income from £750 for my son James Mallinson and his children
- income from £1250 for my daughter in law Anne Mallinson and her children provided she remains the widow of my deceased son Thomas Mallinson
- residue upon trust for my son William Mallinson absolutely
- in the event of any deficiency of my estate to realize the sums aforesaid ... the several shares ... shall be reduced equally and not rateably
